happy life

I remember to visit my only friends from the restaurant in NL, the guy was a chef, the woman was a nurse, both in their early 30s and they just got a baby. They were simple just as their home, neither of them had big career, high salary or reputation, they were just simply there for each other in their happy life. This makes me think whether is it only a demand from the society to achieve the most in your career, after graduating from a prestigious university heading to a busy, demanding, tough time when you try to fight for the best position at the best company. but what for eventually if you go home to your empty home where no one is waiting for you. these ppl were the happiest, because they were there for each other, caring, loving...
